Home is not the best when it’s just another test,
I’m anything but free inside your sanctuary.
Truth left untold.
Living inside this hell and my mind,
As I stop I then realise your salvations just a lie.
They pushed and shoved us, shoved us to the ground.
There are souls that are lost here, lost and never found.
We came with a dream, a dream to be free
but we should have known better than to hope for you and me.
There’s no hope for you and me.
We’re waiting to surface and drown in each other.
I’m dying right here beside my brother.
If I had a voice, I’d help you find yours.
I’ll die here.
Oh the lies that they sold,
and the truth left untold,
Is existence a life behind doors?
If I had a voice, I’d help you find yours.
We’re waiting to surface and drown in each other
I’m dying right here beside my brother.
As I stop to remind myself and rewind back the time,
I will never be free inside your sanctuary.
Home is not the best when it’s just another test,
I’m anything but free inside your sanctuary.
Truth left untold.
Living inside this hell and my mind,
as I stop I then realise your salvations just a lie.
Your salvations just a lie, ain’t no escape from fear.
Just waiting for us all to die
I won’t die here.
Oh the lies that they sold,
and the truth left untold,
Is existence a life behind doors?
If I had a voice, I’d help you find yours.
We’re waiting to surface and drown in each other,
I’m dying right here beside my brother.
As I stop to remind myself and rewind back the time,
I will never be free inside your sanctuary.
There’s no hope for you and me.
I’m here to tell you that it’s not what it seems.
Quite possibly the most full-on album I've ever listened to. Intense, and then some. 'Digital Tarpit' could describe both the track and the whole album: high-pitched guitar squeals that make your fillings itch coupled with merciless, suffocating heaviness. The Avenell-esque vocals top it off perfectly.
Brilliant - punishing, but brilliant. jim_fuego
Not a fan of the new album but this Polaris album is just what I love about metalcore. Saw them live in CH last year and on stage they are amazing. If you're new to Polaris (doubt it) start here ! sachavonkarl74
