What's worse, a loaded gun or a loaded question?
A loss of life or some reflection?
What's worse? Stand down!
They say there's a place out there, that'll we'll find salvation.
Can't escape the noise. Can’t escape frustration.
What's a kid to do, when there's nobody left but you?
What's a kid to do with a twisted view?
Stand down!
With a gun in your mouth, yeah your life is looking south.
Stand Down!
With a bullet put through am I holier than you?
These pieces in my hand they’ve now turned to dust and sand
and now I see you took the best of me, now I’m no longer free,
you took the best and made a beast of me.
They say there’s a place out there, that we’ll find salvation.
Can’t escape the noise, can’t escape frustration.
What's worse, a loaded gun or a loaded question?
A loss of life, or some reflection?
What's a kid to do, when there's nobody left but you?
What's a kid to do with a twisted view?
Stand down!
Quite possibly the most full-on album I've ever listened to. Intense, and then some. 'Digital Tarpit' could describe both the track and the whole album: high-pitched guitar squeals that make your fillings itch coupled with merciless, suffocating heaviness. The Avenell-esque vocals top it off perfectly.
Brilliant - punishing, but brilliant. jim_fuego
Not a fan of the new album but this Polaris album is just what I love about metalcore. Saw them live in CH last year and on stage they are amazing. If you're new to Polaris (doubt it) start here ! sachavonkarl74
